Procurement at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S is a fast-developing organization with high impact on the overall business. Due to the fast growth, globalization and increasing challenges there is a lot of potential and need to increase the efficiency of the overall Procurement organization.

Therefore, we are looking for talented and highly motivated intern to support our small team, consisting of three persons, in Denmark from the 1st of February 2022 for a period of 6 months.

How to contribute to our vision

We are looking for an intern, who can do 6 months internship at our Commodity Transformer & Switchgear (T&S) department, who will support the global team that is located in Denmark and Germany, in their daily work on strategic topic as well as negotiations with suppliers.

The intern will be supporting the preparation and execution of the annual negotiation as well as related Strategy of the Commodity Owning the Supplier Benchmark Process, i.e. approaching new potential Supplier and being the interface to our team as well as internal stakeholder.

Other responsibilities will be handling Request for Quotations (RfQ) as well as Engineering Change Notes (ECN) with Supplier and internal stakeholder; Conducting market research on potential new Supplier; Supporting the preparation and execution of the annual negotiation as well as related Strategy of the Commodity; as well as controlling and reporting of KPIs relevant to the commodity.

By joining our team, you will be granted a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge of Procurement activities in a global technology company, as well as to apply your theoretical knowledge to practical situations.

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. For our internship that will take place in Denmark, we are also looking for:

  • You hold excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and your English skills are at a high level both orally and in writing.
  • You should be enrolled in one of the following studies: Bachelor or Master in Business Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or similar.
  • The ideal candidate must possess great IT knowledge of Excel and Power Point. Any working experience within larger industrial companies or ARIBA & SAP will be perceived as an advantage.
  • Furthermore, you are a dedicated team player, goal oriented, self-driven and well-structured – most important is, you are motivated!
