Hoyer Motors: Supply Chain Assistant

Are you organised and service-minded? Are you interested in working in an international company? And would you like to work with production BOM’s and master data? Then, join our supply chain department to support our product configurator team and assist daily purchasing and shipping assignments.

At Hoyer, we have recently gone live with a new ERP system and a product configurator module. This allows us to automate introduction of new products and translate market requirements into standardised formats. To succeed with this we need a new colleague.

We are looking for a colleague to help us maintaining the products structure, updating the system settings and assisting in expanding the configurator functions. You will work closely together with senior employees who are experts within our product specification, manufacturing capabilities and internal supply chain processes. And you will receive extensive training from them.

Apart from configurator related assignments, there will be varying supply chain assisting tasks such as purchasing of smaller motor components, shipping and data analysis.

You will play an important role in:

  • registering data to the ERP system related to releasing new products.
  • updating production BOM for missing components
  • supporting and ensuring correct master data setup in the ERP
  • purchasing motor components and office supplies
  • analysing basic data in Excel and updating monthly KPI reports
  • supporting process optimisation and cost saving projects.

Later, there is a possibility to develop the role in your preferred direction.          

To succeed in this role:

  • You are detail oriented and you like to work with repetitive tasks
  • You do not need to have experience with above, as long as you are ready to learn and work committed
  • You have basic Excel skills
  • Having a supply chain, engineering or similar background would be a plus.
