As an Engineering Intern, you will join our RF Communication development team within the Technology function. The team consists of Engineers, Technicians and PhDs, and you will be included on equal footing with the rest of the team. An internship with focus on embedded software
During your internship you will become a part of the team which develops embedded software to our RF communication modules. You will be assigned to a development project, where you will work with technology clarification, analysis, simulation and implementation.

You will get to know all aspects of the job as a Embedded Software Developer in Kamstrup, including:

  • Embedded software development based on our Firmware development process
  • Low level embedded software development in C or C++ with an object oriented mindset as well as test scripts in Python
  • Communication protocols and protocol stacks
  • Optimized embedded Software design for low power consumption
  • Hardware-based programming and measurement, where the hardware platform typically is ARM Cortex-M3 based (low power)


The final work tasks will be adjusted to your competencies, but you will be working with real tasks and problems needed in our development projects.

Personality Matters
We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven engineering student, who contribute to the development in Kamstrup based on a high personal drive and updated theoretical knowledge. You are studying a relevant bachelor’s degree within Electronics, EE, Software or similar and is looking for an internship where freedom under responsibility and development are paramount. Furthermore, you are strong in mathematics, communication theory and software development  combined with a good understanding of electronics.

As a person you are driven by creating a difference by analysing problems based on facts. You appreciate collaboration and professional sparring with your colleagues. You pride yourself in being flexible in your work with different projects and systems.

As we are an international company, it is a requirement that you master English both written and orally. Danish will be an advantage
