In this position as a Sustainability & ESG Communication Intern, you will become a part of Quality & Sustainability. The Q&S department covers all disciplines within Quality, Metrology, Calibration, Sustainability and Health & Safety. More specifically, you will join a professional team of 3 dedicated employees focusing on sustainability and ESG. We support the organization with continuously monitoring and supporting ISO 14001 Environmental Management, Sustainability and ESG development. This includes creating data insights, reporting, and ensuring that ESG-related requirements and Kamstrup´s sustainability strategy are adopted and integrated across our business. Our team is characterized by a positive energy, an informal tone, and a great sense of humor, creating a lively and supportive work atmosphere.

A position with focus on driving sustainability and ESG communication
In collaboration with the Sustainability Manager and team, you will play a crucial role in engaging our global organization in sustainability and ESG-related topics and activities. During your internship, you will ensure internal engagement through various communication materials, aligning the organization with ESG goals and ensuring transparency in our sustainability efforts. In doing so, you will enhance your project management skills, as you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the whole organization. Furthermore, depending on your knowledge and interests you will have the opportunity to provide support in environmental data reporting etc.

More specifically, your primary work tasks includes:

  • Engage colleagues in sustainability development at Kamstrup through effective communication, such as intranet articles, posters, and events
  • Participate in the preparation and facilitation of training sessions and activities for employees to ensure the integration of sustainability and ESG knowledge
  • Support in external communication and reporting, including sustainability reporting and rating schemes
  • Conduct analyses on ESG impacts and comparisons to evaluate sustainability performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Support process descriptions and integrate them into our internal management system within sustainability

Personality matters
We are looking for a motivated student who wants to explore their talent within communication and project management. We imagine that you are currently attending a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in cand.ling.merc, cand.IT, cand.merc.sol, communication or similar. Additionally, you are an experienced user of MS Office Tools. But most importantly, you have a great interest in working with sustainability and ESG.

As a person, you are passionate about sustainability, which shines through when you are interacting with colleagues around you. Furthermore, you get energy in an outgoing role, which makes you good at creating relations across the organization and enhances your collaboration with different stakeholders. You thrive in a dynamic environment with many ongoing tasks and are good at keeping a structure and maintaining an overview. Together with your excellent communication skills, this enables you to communicate in a targeted and clear manner, always aligning your approach with Kamstrup’s Sustainability Strategy.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English and Danish fluently.
