Arla: Customer Support Intern – Aarhus

The purpose of Customer Support is to drive and support sales and secure a high service and stability for our customers in a very dynamic food and beverage market place for retail, foodservice and industry customers in Denmark. The department is part of Arla Foods Customer Operations in the lively sales & marketing subsidiary to the Danish Market and is located in Aarhus next to our headquarter.

You will be reporting directly to the Customer Support Manager to help advance and development one or two strategic focus areas.

About the Internship
The internship project will be finally scoped between the following objectives.

Help us development and rollout of new IT tool for our Field Sales. We are on the verge of starting what is one of 2021 Big Bets from Arla site. Development and implementation of an IT solution for our Field Sales personnel. Here you will be a resource in part of the project. To support us in training sessions and practicalities during roll out.

Fuel more effective ways of working enabling us to get full effect of office365. We are a part of a very volatile environment thus we constantly need to adapt our WoW to the “new normal”.  Our ambition is to minimize the number of manual process we have. Here we see office 365 as an essential tool. You will help us identify which processes to automate and help us develop our “new normal”.

The intern will have opportunity to influence the final scoping of the internship project. In any case extensive the intern will be working together with customer service and support, sales business unit teams, finance, logistics across the downstream food value chain.

Who are you?

  • You are open minded, creative, observant and not afraid to offer your opinion
  • Other traits you hold are structured, effective, independent, self-promoting, relationship builder
  • You are analytical, data-heavy and having a good working knowledge of office365
  • The ideal candidate has project management skills and understand Danish language, but not necessary to speak it
  • You are likely to pursue academic interest in commercial management, value chain management, Engineering or IT

What do we offer?
You will gain deep insight into the customer facing operations of a Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company, train your change leadership and behavioural design skills, as well as deepen your knowledge of business management and retail and foodservice customers.
