06 Feb Kamstrup: Internship in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Are you passionate about working with business processes and ERP, and do you want to play a significant role in deploying Kamstrup’s new ERP platform? Are you interested in ERP and how the system supports the business? Are you ready for a challenging and educational internship in a growing international company?
Become a part of Enterprise Systems in Kamstrup
In Enterprise Systems, we work focused on contributing to Kamstrup’s goal of ensuring clean water and energy for as many people as possible. You will be part of a team consisting of 19 competent employees with cross-functional backgrounds, who manage a wide range of different business system tasks on a daily basis. You can thus expect professional sparring and support in your daily life. The tone of the department is informal and you will be part of an educational environment where there is room for sparring and new ideas to challenge our processes.
A challenging internship with insight into IT and business processes
As part of Enterprise Systems under Group IT, you will gain in-depth knowledge of our cross-disciplinary IT systems; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Quality Management (QMS), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and you will be involved in preparing and documenting future initiatives.
You will play an important role in deploying Kamstrup’s new ERP platform and you will be responsible for creating an overview of current processes that are supported by ERP. This will be done in close collaboration with colleagues across the organization and will be the basis for the future setup through fit/gap analysis in the coming system.
You will have independent tasks that involve defining the processes that will be supported in the new ERP. In addition, you will create an overview of data to support the processes and of functionality to be developed. In this context, you will have a significant role in the interaction between IT/ERP specialists, architectural and integration specialists, external consultants and the business process owners. Thus, you will work with the Business Unit Managers to describe processes in detail, and you will independently ensure that they are effectively represented in the ERP system.
Your personality is important to us
We are looking for an outgoing and independent student with commitment and up-to-date knowledge who can contribute to the development of the business-supporting elements of our platforms. You are attending a master’s degree program for Global Business Engineering, Engineering, MSc. in IT, MSc. in BI or similar and have learned about optimizing business processes. At the same time, you have a great interest in the interaction between IT and business processes.
As a person, you are highly committed to cooperation and are always ready to contribute with your professional skills. You are quality conscious, careful with your tasks and work in a structured manner. You always strive to do your best and constantly challenge your own standards. You have a strong theoretical business understanding and a great interest in ERP (and other business systems). You are an experienced user of MS PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of MS Visio is an advantage but not a requirement.
You must be fluent in spoken and written Danish and English.
We offer more than just an internship
We offer you an internship with a varied task list. You will be responsible for your own project and through that, you will have ample opportunity to leave your mark on the project as well as to develop both your professional and personal skills. You will receive thorough training and continuous sparring so that you can be on an equal footing with your colleagues in the department.
At Kamstrup, we focus a lot on the social relations between our interns across the organization and if you are ready, we offer you an exciting autumn with great challenges and teamwork. In 2019, we were also elected by Aarhus Municipality and the international student house, Studenterhus Aarhus, as the best internship company in eastern Jutland on the basis of our work with interns.
A gratuity may be provided in recognition of your efforts if your place of study allows it. In addition, Kamstrup pays for public transport to and from work and offers a wealth of benefits counting a canteen scheme, fruit scheme, fitness facilities, in-house dental clinic, hairdresser and a free health clinic.
