Systematic: Intern for Recruitment & HR

Systematic: Intern for Recruitment & HR

Are you ready to take responsibility for an entire recruitment process in a growing international IT company? If so, we have the perfect job for you! Systematic is offering an exciting internship in a professional and inspiring working environment that will give you every opportunity to develop and try your hand at recruitment while at the same time giving you insights into other aspects of the HR palette.

Recruitment from a-z
We are looking for a skilled and committed Intern for our People Attraction team, where we are recruitment specialists. You will join a team of 10 dedicated and helpful colleagues in Denmark and Romania. We are looking for an Intern who, through close cooperation, will gain insight into all our HR activities and related challenges.
As a Recruitment Intern, you will be in charge of recruiting Interns for the next semester and take responsibility for the entire process from job postings, screening and job interviews to selecting the candidates. During your internship, you will engage with a wide variety of employees across the entire organisation through close collaboration with your HR, marketing, and IT colleagues, and you will also be in frequent dialogue with external partners.

From day one, you will be assigned a tutor and a mentor who will equip you for the tasks in the team, and you will receive ongoing sparring in connection with your development during your internship.

In addition to your team, you will be part of an Intern network with the other Interns at Systematic. During your internship, you will be able to participate in various social events that enable you to get to know your fellow interns better and exchange experiences. There will also be every possibility for developing a network across the organisation thanks to the Systematic Employees Club, where passionate employees organise various social activities for all our employees. Systematic prides itself on having a corporate culture where it should be fun going to work.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Recruiting 15-25 Interns and Student Workers
  • Engaging in stakeholder management, including close cooperation with project managers across all our business units
  • Proofreading, copywriting, and publishing job descriptions and job postings
  • Administering various job banks, including Systematic’s website, LinkedIn, Jobindex, and Graduateland
  • Providing support to the recruitment team, both in Denmark and internationally
  • Evaluating and optimising the process for future Interns
  • Supporting Employer Branding at job fairs and other initiatives
  • Supporting colleagues’ work by way of exciting ad-hoc tasks within HR.

Trust and openness
As an Intern at Systematic, you will be treated on a par with the other employees. You will become an integrated part of a team from day one and engage in performing the team’s tasks. You will be able to organise your own working day to a considerable extent, and, following a thorough introduction to the projects, you will be able to handle tasks independently. The most important thing for us is that you learn a lot and enjoy your time at Systematic and that you find the job to be a rich opportunity for professional and personal development.

Apply your skills

Throughout your internship, the focus will be on developing your skills, which we envisage are as follows:

  • You have a good sense of order and are able to put your ideas into practice.
  • You are outgoing and willing to take on new tasks and tackle new challenges.
  • You can work independently, and structure your own working day in line with our corporate philosophy of ‘freedom with responsibility’.
  • It would be an advantage if you have previous experience with HR tasks and/or recruitment, but it is not essential.

Minimum qualifications

  • You are currently studying for a relevant Master’s degree, and you take a keen interest in HR.
  • You are prepared to assume full responsibility for the recruitment of Interns, who are important for our recruitment pipeline at Systematic.
  • You speak and write Danish fluently and have a good command of English.
  • As a Recruitment Intern, it is also an advantage if you have a flair for or take an interest in data-driven HR.
  • We work with security classified projects, therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years. Additionally, it is a requirement to obtain a security clearance when working in our Defence Business Unit. Please read more here.

Practical information

  • The internship lasts five months, starting in August 2023, with the option of starting earlier as a Student Worker in May.
  • The internship is a full-time position, but we are flexible in relation to your studies and ECTS points requirements.
  • The internship is unpaid, but if your study programme allows it, you will receive a token of our appreciation each month.
  • If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at +45 8943 2000, and ask for Sofie Heiner Nielsen, Talent Acquisition Consultant.
