Are you new to Aarhus and looking for a way to connect with locals and discover your new home through fun, meaningful experiences?
Then Aarhus Explorers is just what you need!

What is Aarhus Explorers?
Aarhus Explorers is a community of international and Danish students who come together to explore Aarhus, build friendships, and create unforgettable memories. The programme is designed for international students at Aarhus University and is coordinated by Studenterhus Aarhus in collaboration with the International Centre.

Once you join, you’ll become a member of the Aarhus Explorers community and be matched with one of our Danish student ambassadors — friendly locals who are excited to share their life in Aarhus with you!!

What can you look forward to?
Each month, you’ll be invited to take part in a social or cultural event — from game nights and local traditions to cultural visits and seasonal celebrations. There will also be spontaneous pop-up activities throughout the year, depending on what the community wants to explore!

– Potluck dinner – April/Easter
– Mini-gold – May

Spots are limited, don’t miss out!
With a limited number of ambassadors, we can only welcome a set number of participants. However, the sign-up will be available all year, so you can join at any time!

How do I join?
To become a member of the Aarhus Explorers community, there is a small participation fee. This gives you access to the full programme of events — and helps support the activities and experiences we’ll share throughout the year.
