Bakken Bears: Do you want to be a part of Bakken Bears’ voluntary Digital Team?

Bakken Bears: Do you want to be a part of Bakken Bears’ voluntary Digital Team?

At Bakken Bears Basketball, we are looking for new volunteers who are ready for a lot of cool tasks in connection with our home games. Being part of the Digital Team does not mean that you have to have skills in IT. You just need to have a lot of courage and a desire to learn new things – and have time to attend at least five of our 30 annual matches.

There are plenty of benefits to being a volunteer at Bakken Bears, but first a little bit about the Digital Team tasks:

Before game:

  • Setting up LED advertising boards
  • Cabling of LED advertising boards
  • Set up spotlights
  • European games: setting up spark machines

During games:

  • Control of LED and large screen computers
  • Control of spotlights and other lights
  • Troubleshooting LED advertising boards in case of a loose connection during the game
  • European games: control of spark machines

After the game:

  • Clear away LED advertising board and large screen computers
  • Clear away the spotlight
  • European games: Clear away sparkling machines

Setup before games will typically be from 12.00 on weekdays and start no later than 14.00. The games are typically played on weekdays at 18:30 or 19:15 and lasts approximately an hour and a half.

Benefits of volunteering at Bakken Bears:

  • You get 20 tickets per season for games where you are not a volunteer – or for your friends
  • Access to select away games
  • Bakken Bears T-shirt
  • Start-up event with team and coaches
  • The Bakken Bears End of Season Party with team, coaches, employees and commercial partners
  • We’re a friendly bunch in an international atmosphere. Our players are from all over the world and most of the Danes at the club have lived abroad ourselves.

We hope this sounds interesting and that you, your friend, or someone you know, would like to be part of the team. If you would like to hear more, contact Volunteer Coordinator, Sara Tved Hansen, at sth@bakkenbears.com
