Bakken Bears is one of the premier basketball teams of Denmark and Scandinavia, with ambitions of more to come.  

The home base is Vejlby-Risskov Hallen in North Aarhus, where we try to create a great atmosphere for partners, sponsors, fans and spectators alike.  

Dennis Bjerre from Stiften described the March 2022 atmosphere as: 

“The world is hurdling towards an energy crisis, and if things really go south, the experts will need to find a way to tap the excitement of a European evening in Vejlby-Risskov Hallen on a Wednesday evening like this”. 

We participate not only in the Danish Basketligaen, but also Basketball Champions League or FIBA Europe Cup. The team can regularly be seen around the courts of Europe and great European teams visit North Aarhus. 

Our partner network has been described as the best in Aarhus and we obviously aim to make it even better.
